• Where'd they get the name Weslie from anyway? And how's Weslie supposed to correspond to the name Pleasant Goat?
  • The producers probably assumed that the character's original name, Pleasant Goat, sounded a bit generic and went for something that sounds like an actual name; this extends to the other main characters' names as well (Lazy Goat changed to Paddi, Beauty Goat changed to Tibbie, etc.). Though, there is at least one English dub (Miao Mi's dub, covering the seasons Dear Little Wish, Pleasant Goat Fun Class: Animals & Plants, and Pleasant Goat Fun Class: Sports are Fun) that uses "Pleasant Goat" and the other "[x] Goat" names.
