Why didn't the girls think to try different pharmacies after the first one refused to give them Plan B? Is the area they live in so rural that there was only one pharmacy within a reasonable commuting distance of where they lived?
- Two possible reasons:
- They are both hungover, Lupe is high and Sunny is terrified. They are not thinking clearly. The interaction with the Indian pharmacist makes them biased against going to another pharamacy.
- They want a sure thing. Any other pharmacy could just as easily have turned them away, but Planned Parenthood, assuming it was open, would of course help without hesitation.
