  • A news report states that all the parents in Angel Grove mysteriously disappeared at once. Didn't anyone notice a huge crowd of hypnotized people marching through the streets?
    • These are the same civilians that don't notice when a group of teenagers are trying to stop a runaway baby carriage (assuming that episode still happened in this timeline). Their observational skills are worse than Bulk and Skull's.
    • Think a bit here. It doesn't just have to be the parents. It could be the extended family, friends, coworkers etc of anyone who had the ooze delivered to them by their children. These infectees could in turn deliver ooze to anyone who wouldn't have some kind of tangential contact with a kid. And in so doing, infect a large amount the entire able-bodied adult population of Angel Grove to create more slave labour for Ivan. Anyone left to be noticing the crowd of infectees are also pretty much accounted for (the kids are goofing off until Fred rallies them, and the elderly and disabled are perhaps on vacation, in hospital, sleeping at night, or any number of other potential reasons to prevent them from observing it. The able-bodied people we see fleeing their cars when the Ectomorphicons attack the city were lucky enough to escape infection, and evacuated before they could notice the crowd of infectees). The news crew were lucky in that having to be constantly on duty during the crisis managed to prevent them from being in contact with their children (directly if they had any, tangentially if not).
  • How did the Tengu know exactly where the Rangers were on Phaedos, and then exactly where Ivan was when they reported back?
    • Probably have some kind of homing mechanism that let's them know where to go.
  • How did Ivan know about the Black Plague, Spanish Inquisition, etc. when he was trapped in that egg?
    • The Genie Knows Jack Nicholson?
    • To elaborate on that answer, he has some means of observing the outside world during his imprisonment. Maybe his egg just effectively has an antenna which can pick up all forms of human communications, from word of mouth to television broadcast, and it has an unlimited range to allow him to observe anything on Earth. Perhaps his cultist followers were able to attach this device to the egg, but were stopped from doing anything else by the precursors to the Power Rangers. And yet he didn't pay much attention to the rise of the current Rangers, because he feared he'd never be released from the egg.
  • Why did the Rangers wait until night to inspect the construction site? For that matter, why did they have to waste time and go to the Command Center for briefing instead of being briefed right there? I mean, they had just skated through it.
    • Night time is the best time when no one else are present except for night guards though conveniently there were none present. As for teleporting to the Command Center, it is a much better choice and only takes a few seconds anyway (unlike Turbo) because "walls have ears". You will never know when someone will be listening in and the fact that their identities could be exposed if they morph right there. Better safe than sorry.
