A lot of things in this fanfic are either implied or left for the reader to assume, however this may generate some questions, such as:

    open/close all folders

When did Marinette have time to transfer?
  • Her transfering schools seems to be almost immediately after the events of "Chameleon", if not the very next day; but the dialogue about her transfer being completed "yesterday afternoon" implies the process was initiated since before, how is that possible?

    Free school for the rich?
  • From the friends and acquaintances Marinette makes, it's clear that her new, private school is only populated by the rich elite and seems to be a prestigious school of some kind; how did she get in? It doesn't seem like a small-business-owning family could afford tuition of such an institute and a school like that wouldn't let a student transfer mid-year just like that. Are all schools in this version of Paris free?
    • It could be assumed that she may have won a scholarship due to her designing talent, but no mention is made of it at any point.

How blind can Alya be to Ladybug's identity?
  • Even taking into account the miraculous' masquerade-preserving magic and her willingness to fall for Lila's manipulations, it should have struck Alya as weird that both Ladybug and Marinette grew cold to her at the same time for basically the same reason. It should have struck her as odd that both her former friend and her hero just decided to hate Lila at the exact same timeframe, especially since, as far as Alya "knows", Marinette has no personal connection to Ladybug, nor Ladybug a reason to be angry at Alya for hanging out with Lila (until Lila invents one, and even then). And despite her slowly realizing Lila's lies, this is the one thing she never stops to consider.

What were the miraculous used for that made Adrien so angry?
  • While it would be easy for him to deduce that Emilie's coma was miraculous-abuse-induced, he treats the issue as if the miraculous were used directly on him, with all his talk of feeling smothered and his parents using magic for their egoistic purposes, but what did Emilie even DO? Was she using sentimonsters to keep Adrien physically captive? Or is he simply angry at both the implication of miraculous misuse *and* his parents' overprotectiveness and is just lumping the two together? What does one thing have to do with the other?

What became of Emilie and Nathalie?
  • After the main emotional conflict is resolved and Adrien goes to find his happily ever after, none of the two are mentioned again. It's easy to theorize that Nathalie is in jail too, but what about Emilie? Her husband's company went bankrupt, her husband is in jail for magic terrorism and their house is going to be demolished, so where is she going to go? What is she going to do? Not to mention, she was legally dead for several years and therefore out of the public records, so is she homeless now?
    • It could be theorized that she may have a bank account remaining from her days as a model and actress, but the whole "legally dead for years" thing might put a damper on that, unless Gabriel found a way to freeze all her accounts for when she came back, but that would be veering into crazy-theory territory.
    • Alternatively, she could have gone to live with her twin sister in London, that is, if she even exists in this universe, as this was written well before "Felix" came out.
    • Did she visit Gabriel at some point? Did she remain in Paris at all?

What did Adrien do for a living?
  • After Gabriel company goes down under, Adrien is basically peniless. Yet he is still enjoying a lavish life with Marinette post-timeskip. Since she is also rich now this wouldn't be a problem, except... what is Adrien doing with his life? Does he live entirely off of Marinette's money? Is he her business partner? Does he even have a degree? Did he go to university?
    • It is easy to asume that he may be modeling for Marinette's brand now.
    • He may also have some high position in the brand's management or be the vice-president or co-president and therefore make his own obscene amounts of money.
