Everyone but this guy has one clothes, why?

The age-old question: Why do Mother Bear, Father Bear, and the grandparents wear clothes but Little Bear does not?
- Maybe he's going through that "running around naked" phase? Granted if he is, he's been going through it for a LOOONG time...
  - The other animal kids we see, also aren't wearing clothes, so, maybe that just something they do.

Mother and Father's real names?

Why are Mother and Father Bear actually named that (they carved their initials on a tree when they courted and MB is called such as a kid)?
- Maybe they have the same initials (Marilyn Bear and Frank Bear)?

Now that Emily lives in the forest permanently, how can she still go to school?
- Maybe her Granny homeschools her. With all her wisdom and all the different experiences she's had, she's probably more than up to the task.
- The above answer is more than likely the case. Homeschooling was the default way for children to learn for thousands of years, and only stopped being so common around the mid-20th century.
  - Actually, there was one episode where she did have to leave the forest to go to school and it was a plot point, so, at that time, she likely did go to school outside of the forest. She probably still does go to school outside of the forest.

When does the series take place? Sometimes it seems like the 1930s, sometimes the Victorian era.
- Maybe it's neither. Since animals and humans talk to each other and since the characters celebrate Goblin Night instead of Halloween and the Winter Solstice instead of Christmas, maybe it takes place on an alternate Earth, in a time period that blends the fashions and technology of the Victorian era with those of the 1930s.
