• Is Mae not the actual name of the human girl? In a recent trailer featured in IMAX, during the chase scene in which an Ape hunting party is searching for the Human lead, Noa calls for Raka and "Nova". The subtitles of the trailer do confirm that it is Nova that Noa said. Is it possible that Nova is an alias used by the Human lead to prevent her real identity from being revealed and that a big reveal will be used later to show that her actual name is Mae and that she can speak all along?
  • Indeed, another leaked scene shows Raka giving her the name "Nova", because that's how the descendants of Caesar's tribe call all female humans.
