Headscratchers / Key the Metal Idol

• So, at the end of every episode, there's a message saying "You are one of the 30,000 people who can fulfill Key's dream. With your combined passion, Key can become a true human being." Was that going with the show's theme of having Key make 30,000 friends, was it a "please continue to support this anime by buying the next release" sort of thing, or was it something else? For the record, this isn't the only thing that I find confusing about this anime, it's just the thing that confuses me the most.
