• Why does Kotaro need to be adopted by a family? He's a grown man and I imagine helicopter pilots get paid pretty well.
  • Probably for the same reason Waver Velvet felt the need to trick the 2 elderly people he lived with that he was their grandson - it probably was just a temporary arrangement until he was ready to get back on his feet; heck, you could've argued that Shouichi shouldn't have been a part of the Misugi family by the same logic.
  • Well, since this series was originally intended to be a standalone entry unrelated to Kamen Rider BLACK, this was most likely one of the many last minute rewrites in order to connect it to the previous series.
