- Why is The Lad searching for The Guy? Does he wanna be The Guy too? Has The Guy gone missing?
- It seems that The Kid from the previous game turned corrupt once he became The Guy, as when you clear the first world, The Lad comments that The Guy has been cruel and ruthless. Either that or this game is set in an alternate timeline, or The Kid has died while trying to be The Guy.
