• Why are Baragon and Varan bosses in this game? Unlike all other boss monsters, they're from Earth, not outer space; and in film they had only been portrayed as allies to Godzilla and Mothra up this point (see Destroy All Monsters).
  • It would hardly be the first time aliens have mind controlled otherwise passive kaiju for their own ends.
