  • What happens if someone just walks over the big tree in the road?
    • Probably nothing. It's all but stated that once you see the tree, then you're already trapped. From that point on any road you take is just going to lead into town.

  • The Strip seems like a really dangerous and stupid way of getting people to stop driving, what makes Kenny and Boyd think it's the best way to accomplish this?
    • It's quite possibly to stop people from trying to drive away if they don't believe them, which would be pointless anyway and could possibly be fatal if they're still out driving when the sun goes down. We see Donna do something similar when she blows out the tyres of the bus in Season 2 to prevent the passengers from trying to leave.

  • Why did Boyd name the German Shepard that was helping him Gus?

  • Why don't the people trapped there do more to find ways to trap or kill the monsters?
    • Probably because it's more trouble than it's worth. The monsters are very strong as well as impervious to most forms of physical harm, so the humans have very little to use in way of trying to actually combat them. And we've seen just how easily the creatures can tear a human being apart, so everyone probably figured it was easier to just hide.

  • How did Martin throw down the rope for Boyd to climb up?
    • There's clearly more to Martin than met the eye, as the building he was trapped in literally vanished the moment he died.

  • Why did Jade suddenly stop caring about the radio?
    • Even though it put everyone in danger they know it works and they might actually be able to reach someone who could help them if they found another way to use it.

  • How exactly has Victor survived longer than anyone else?
    • Victor isn't exactly stupid and he can take care of himself but I have a hard time believing he could survive there for over 40 years. He mentions towards the end of season 1 that it's the first time he ran out of peaches, where did he get so many cans of peaches?
    • It likely comes from the town itself. It's stated that the livestock they keep just seems to appear in the woods when they need it, and we've already seen that the town gets electricity that comes from nowhere. It isn't a stretch to believe that things like tinned food would simply appear when they needed it as well. As for it being the first time in 40 years that he ran out of peaches, it's pretty clear that things in town are starting to change, so maybe that has something to do with it.

  • Why is Victor so reluctant to tell people what he knows and what might actually be going on?
    • Did no one believe him when he started implying that something bad was going to happen to Colony House in season 1?
    • Victor has been living in the town his entire life, so they should really listen to what he says, even if he is a little creepy. Either they initially pressed him for information and he just wouldn't say anything, or everyone decided he was crazy after 40 years and just left him to it.

  • Why do newcomers not react to the fact that missing people are in the town? Of course people go missing without getting much media coverage, but one would think that, say, an entire family going missing would be huge news and thus newcomers would immediately recognise them upon seeing them.
