Headscratchers / Dragonheart: Battle for the Heartfire

Go To

  • Aside from the dragonheart, how would Drago be sure that Edric is Walter's son? Was Prince Walter the only one in the kingdom with that name?
  • People can gain dragonheart powers, and they can skip a generation?
    • If so, why didn't Einon gain any special abilities through his heartbond with Draco in Dragonheart?
    • Because it was a first generation shared heart, if Einon had fathered children they may have inherited abilities from the dragonheart but he died before that could happen. It could also depend on both the human and dragon in each individual case.
  • Series Continuity Error
    • The 1996 film established that the human bonded to a dragon is partially immortal while the dragon lives, but this film starts with King Gareth about to die of old age with Drago believing that he's going to die with Gareth. Then Drago dodges the bullet since his bond with Gareth got passed on to Mehgan and Edric.
      • Then Drago slowly dies after his Heartfire gets stolen.
      • which may have killed Meghan and Edric.
      • As for the human being immortal, all we know for sure is that Einon couldn't be killed as long as he was bonded with Draco. Even if he would have eventually died of old age, it's hard to blame Draco for not wanting to wait and outlive Einon after everything he'd done already.
    • In Dragonheart: A New Beginning, Master Kwan said dragons draw fire from their "fire lung." However, this film deems the Heartfire as the source of the dragons' fire.
      • This may be a case of different terms for the same thing.
