  • Who runs faster: Dixie or Kiddy? The manual never specifies who is faster, so answers seem to vary from person to person.
    • The question has been answered over here, where it says:

    • Diddy running, rolling: 864, 1152
    • Dixie running, rolling: 768, 1152
    • Kiddy running, rolling: 768, 1152
    • Donkey running, rolling: 768, 1024

      • Diddy walking: 576
      • Dixie walking: 512 (DKC2), 576 (DKC3)
      • Kiddy walking: 512
      • Donkey walking: 512

      • The number is the amount of subpixels the character is moving every frame. There are 256 subpixels for each full pixel. Therefore, a speed of 768 would be 3 pixels.
      • It takes longer to reach topspeed in DKC3 compared to the other two games.
      • To summarize - Dixie in DKC2 runs and walks at the same speed as Kiddy (who is only playable in DKC3). In DKC3, Dixie and Kiddy have the same running speed, but Dixie is a faster walker. Nonetheless, both characters still roll faster than Donkey (who is only playable in DKC).
      • Thus, from fastest to slowest speed - Diddy, Dixie, Kiddy and Donkey.

  • If K. Rool uses a Mad Scientist gimmick this time around, then why does he suddenly use magic to imprison the Banana Birds? Is his field actually Magitek or something?
    • You know what they say about any sufficiently advanced technology...

  • In the Game Over screen, why is Dixie in the crib with Kiddy? She's too old to be in it.
    • I don't think it has anything to do with age. I think it's supposed to symbolize a prison.

  • What in the world does Squawks spit? Like, are those random nuts, or... they almost look like bits of honeycomb, but why would a parrot...
    • I thought they were eggs; my mom thinks they're nuts.
      • Officially, they're eggs.
      • I assumed they were like owl pellets. Knocking out enemies with the half-digested skeletal remains of their brethren.
      • Seriously?! I've only ever heard them being called coconuts before now! I wonder what I missed that had that info (along with other stuff jossing other fan theories, like the purple parrot in DKC3 being called Quawks when it's not in the ending cast roll)...
      • Quawks is given a name in Donkey Kong Barrel Blast.
