• How can you get any nutrition at all out of a shoe?
  • You can’t, that’s the point. They were desperately hungry.

• Why didn't the pirates just take the land in episode 7? What was their point in even taking Sandy back to the island if they didn't like her.
  • Sandy wasn’t taken back to the island by pirates, she was pushed away by Coastguards and drifted off in the sea until she smelled the fire and saw the school.
    • I'm referring to the people who were seen at the beginning of the 8th episode travelling away with kayaks who took the boat.
    • Those weren’t pirates. Those were the rest of their former classmates, the ones who weren’t major characters. And anyway, Sandy (obviously) was already at the school when they stole the kayaks and boat that Sandy brought to the school.

• If Phoebe had the ability to check her stocks, could she have done a better job of letting people know that the girls were stranded than the radio efforts?
