  • If Amy and Molly have spent their whole lives studying, going to the library and lying around each other's bedrooms, where did they learn to dance so well?
    • Watching music videos, I suppose.
      • Do they ever reference watching music videos? They seem to spend all their time reading and laying around their bedrooms talking.
  • If that pizza delivery man was a serial killer, why didn't he attempt to kill Amy and Molly when they accosted him in his car? That's what serial killers do, don't they?
    • Not necessarily. Most serial killers have specific methods and processes of how and who they kill, and, unless they're either at risk of exposure or their M.O. is "dumb white girls who randomly show up in his car", it's actually unlikely that the average serial killer would target them in such a random moment.
    • Not to mention, he was unarmed and up against two.
      • No, he had a gun, and his whole diatribe against the girls is about how he had all the power in their situation and could easily do horrible things to them if he'd wanted to. He just didn't want to.
    • Possibly Even Evil Has Standards. He might not target women or teenagers.
    • I figured it was because it was a brightly lit parking lot at his place of employment. Anyone could have seen the girls in there and he was well-known there.
    • Serial killers usually act in a way to satisfy an urge, they don't just target anyone that seems vulnerable. He has no idea who these girls are or if anyone saw them get in his car.
  • Why were Amy and Molly watching lesbian porn in Principal Brown's car? Was Molly trying to introduce scissoring to Amy or something?
    • Literally yes. Molly was convinced that Amy needed to know how to do so in case she were to hook up with Ryan that night.
  • Is Triple A's name actually Annabelle? I thought I heard them call her Amanda in the bathroom scene at the beginning. And her reaction of "Oh my God, now is not the time" when Molly called her Annabelle made it seem like she was joking about not knowing her name because otherwise it'd be like a straightforward "I'm sorry I didn't use your name but I'm using it now" sweet scene.
    • Yes, it's most likely Annabelle.
  • How does Nick's behavior at the party make sense in any way besides him doing something selfish and mean? He was flirting with Molly but he hardly made a commitment and may not have meant anything. He's allowed to flirt with her then decide to make out with someone else. But he asked her multiple times not to move and promised to come back so they'd keep talking then shortly later he's in the pool making out with Ryan? And never comes back to at least let Molly know he's going to go do something else instead of finishing talking to her? Who does that?
    • He probably intended to come back but got distracted by another interested girl crossing his path and forgot all about Molly. The film never presents it as anything but a shitty thing to do. He's a ditzy, drunk teenager at a crowded party following his hormones.
  • How is it possible for Amy and Molly to have no idea that so many of their classmates are geniuses? Didn't they take advanced classes with them? Weren't the other students giving cogent responses in class discussions, delivering outstanding reports and contributing meaningfully to group assignments? It's not like anyone was trying to hide how smart they are from anyone. How oblivious were Amy and Molly during their classes?
    • It’s possible they either took all the AP classes at different times than Molly and Amy or they took some AP classes and acted normally during them, or they took the AP classes online, Or took they just took regular classes where they were able to excel in without much question, while likely taking the cooler more fun electives, possibly some Molly wouldn’t think would look good in college. While finding some ways giving back to their community.
  • Doing any of the above work (almost) as good as Molly while having some parental connections or being lucky enough to meet and charm the right people (who were able to put in good word for them) allowed them to get their dream schools/jobs. If it was the former then they are less sympathetic, if they charmed the right person on their own... Awesome for them.
    • Either way, they worked (almost) or just as hard as Molly and Amy. Although they likely took different AP classes from theirs, with different teachers, (or took regular classes). Had different electives from the leads while still volunteering in someway, while still partying and having fun. It’s said in the movie that at least one of them (likely Annabelle) is almost as smart as Molly. Also sometimes when you realize you’re just as smart as the girl who thinks she’s better than you because of her achievements, even though you’ve done the same (or similar) things at her level, while still being able to have regular high school experiences and the crazy fun she wasn’t able to experience you may want to rub it in her face.
      • Annabelle could have taken the AP classes in subjects she was into and some regular classes (and gotten good grades in all of them despite not looking and acting like the academic type) also got good grades on the tests colleges care about. Took electives she was actually interested in like shop, auto or art club, excelled in them and possibly winning an award, while also being an active member on the cheerleading squad. If she also got a recommendation letter from a place she volunteered at, wrote a nice essay and did great on her interview it’s likely she could actually get in her dream school on her own (At least in universe).
