- If they got rid of Spud for 2015 because "talking scarecrows weren't realistic", why are the construction vehicles still sentient?
- Presumably because talking vehicles are rather common in children's shows, but something like a talking scarecrow isn't. After all, I can't recall the last time Thomas the Tank Engine talked to an inanimate object and it came to life. Plus, do we really want to see what Spud would look like in the new series?
- But they also have a light blue cat, Pilchard. Shouldn't Pilchard be like a normal colored cat?

- In "Pilchard In A Pickle" why didn't Dizzy confess that Pilchard was in Scoop's front load and why didn't Scoop ask Dizzy what the matter was. He just gave her a "Why are you looking at me?" face.
- In "Bob's Big Surprise", why didn't Bob question the mess in his office when looking around for his pitchfork. He should've really noticed it when walking in, but he notices it when getting his pitchfork. Also, how come no one sees Pilchard hide behind the flowers in “Pilchard and the Field Mice”.
