Headscratchers / Blood Feast

• Fuad Ramses attempts to escape by hiding inside a garbage truck but gets crushed. The truck driver obviously didn't know he was there but there didn't seem to be anything else inside. So is it normal for the compactor on a garbage truck to be used when the truck is empty?
  • I think the more important question is why did he hide inside the compactor inside of hanging off the back?
