- How exactly does Baltar sustain his bodily needs, considering he lives amongst a civilization that wouldn't logically have things like food or beds?
- Baltar probably ordered the construction of facilities when he was in charge of a Basestar. We see that the Cylons keep biological beings as slaves so they'd have to provide for them too.
- How can the Battlestar's launch/landing bays be open to space?
- Presumably they have forcefields which stop the air escaping.
- How many Battlestars were there in the first episode?
- We only see 5 (not counting the Pegasus which was considered already lost) although the radio transmissions suggest there may have been more.
- How many fighters does each carry?
- According to the Battlestar Galactica Annual 75 plus a dozen shuttles. However the Galactica may have many more, reinforced by Vipers recovered from other Battlestars and the fleet possibly able to manufacture new ones. In the final episode Adama informs his pilots that they will be taking taking on a Cylon base ship carrying 300 raiders meaning they will be outnumbered 2 to 1.
