  • She loves to sing. The bad part about the Reno gig was the money, not because it was an unpleasant job. Furthermore, we don't know how much money she got away with. In reality, a briefcase full of money isn't all that much, and whatever she got might not be quite enough to support her for the rest of her life in comfort (as opposed to "Father Flynn", who has only a short time left). She might need to get a job at some point for some extra income, and singing is what she does. Judging by the fact that she now sings without a wig on, the money has given her more freedom and control over her career, and she'll certainly never need to choose between sleeping with a record exec or starving. She now reaps all the benefits of her career without the negatives. Plus, it'd just be bad manners to the rest of the band and crew to leave them all in the lurch at the last minute.
