How do the aliens travel through space?
- If the aliens are non-sapient animals just trying to hunt prey and breed, then how do they manage interstellar travel? How do they launch into space, and guide their travel to another solar system?
- Maybe they don't. "Aliens" seems to be what the characters come up with to explain the creatures' strange appearance and how they fall out of the sky. But going by the evidence of the film, we can't really say for sure if they got there by space travel, teleportation, dropping in from another dimension, time travel or even magic. Nor can we say for sure if they arrived of their own volition, were sent or dumped off by some other species, or just wound up on Earth by accident.
- We don’t know anything about them beyond how they act. For all we know, the meteorite pods are their eggs and the females can lay them at FTL straight upwards.
- for all we know they're having a pon farr moment. Although i certainly have concerns about what happens when all those males find that female. It..doesn't tend to end well in reality
