Mission: Retrieve Caesar's Wreath
- What exactly was Asterix and Obelix's plan to steal Caesar's laurel wreath after making it to the Circus Maximus? Go up to the seats and take it from him?
- Probably. It would still be easier than ransacking his palace.
- More likely, they would follow him out of there and take it then.
- Possibly something like Asterix the Gladiator: offer to do something for him (e.g. fighting legionaries to please the crowd) in return for one of his spare wreaths.
Asterix the Overcautious?
- We've seen on a previous occasion that Asterix and Obelix are more than capable of smashing the elite legionaries of Rome to the ground, and in a later album, Obelix proceeds to perform the deed all by himself. So why is Asterix so concerned about facing the Caesar's palace guard? Obelix alone would probably thrash them without breaking a sweat.
