• Why do the two shows merge in the end? Buffalo Bill's original motivation to merge shows was that Pawnee Bill had money, even though his show was inferior to Buffalo Bill's. But once Buffalo Bill finds out that Pawnee Bill has no money, they go ahead with the merger, with Annie paying for both shows. So what exactly is Pawnee Bill bringing to the table here?
