• The illness that the Maram Master Eric is dying of. A required bonemark transfer was mentioned, but what do the bells have to do with the illness? Are they merely symbolic, like a visual and audial countdown to when the terminal illness will grip him? Or are they honestly the cause of his death? In which case, why is his illness mentioned to be the reason?
