Headscratchers / A History of Violence

  • It’s one thing for Jack to be suspended from school for justifiably beating the living piss out of Bobby for bullying him, but for the latter’s family to file criminal charges against him for doing so is beyond extreme, and pretty disgusting if you ask me because it demonstrates what possibly corrupt and morally bankrupt degenerates the family really is. And why was it that Jack got in trouble for standing up for himself in the first place? It just seemed like a miscarriage of justice.
    • That's how it usually happens. Bullies learn to do their bullying out of sight of authority figures so they don't get in trouble for it. The victim's retaliation thus looks unjustified.
