Funny / Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!

Go To

  • Everything about Yudias learning about Rush Duels in the first episode. Special note of him ready to torture Yuuhi just because Yuuhi opened up the booster packs.
  • When Yudias joins UTS, the twins put him in charge of handling the phone, but fail to specify what that entails. So when the phone rings, he blows it up with his Eye Beams.
  • Yudias in general, as he was assumed to be a more serious protagonist. As it turns out he's not just The Comically Serious, but hopelessly naïve in addition to being a Fish out of Water and incredibly endearing as a result.
  • Yudias looking for the magazine for Rush Dueling in Episode 7. Turns out, the bookstore he went to was closed, and he had cut his way through the large metal door. When he gets it, he fixes the door with his eye beams as he leaves... but he doesn't fix the hole he left when he stabbed it with his sword to lever the slab he cut back into place.
  • Manya covering up the Masquerade by telling everyone anything is possible on TV and the announcer playing along with it. It becomes something of a Running Gag for several episodes, even during the seasonal climax where they supposedly destroyed a city tower just for entertainment. This was also used to cover up for Dudi Ducasse invading Mutsuba Town.
  • Chupataro spending an entire episode out of the loop that the town went into space since he was locked up when it happened. What really sells it is how casually Yudias and Co explain it while Chupa freaks out about this cosmic event he had no idea happened.
  • We get a scene with Zwijo and Mitsuko that has dramatic music and has Zwijo name a building Void Bagel only for it to get destroyed by Asaka.
  • There is the stark contrast between Asaka's giant construction machine that can also serve as a duel disk and Yuhi's carton box and playmat in the duel between the two.
  • Nishaw being so hilariously indecisive that he needs a legendary coin toss machine and spending so much time thinking for his decisions that Yuhi and Yuamu temporarily age all the way to 88 in his Dudimo Dudimo Space (which is something everyone from Dudi Ducasse generates whenever they need time making a decision due to all of them being really indecisive).
  • Asaka and Tell's Gambit Pileup on who was using the other first.
