• Just the idea of Gine wearing Roshi's sunglasses to avoid staring at the full moon at night.
• Vegeta of all people gets an ass beating at the hands of a Mama Bear Gine, including wearing said sunglasses after calling out his bluff.
• When Grandpa Gohan finds out about Oolong's wish for panties from Kakarot, he makes an exasperated, "Sounds like Roshi all over again."
• Fans actually commented to the realization that because Gine transformed into a Great Ape, and that she was wearing her Earth clothes instead of armor, they immediately realize the consequence of that transformation. Cue comments about her looks. Chapter 31 of Meganechan720's novelization includes this point, with Krillin and later Yamcha blushing furiously and looking away rapidly after her changing back to normal. She has to go back to Bulma's Capsule corp building while in the buff to get one of Chi-Chi's spare dresses.
• Thanks to Gine's presence and nearly every other Z-Fighter being an Adaptational Badass, Raditz's arrival on Earth is way more awkward than in canon, and immediately drops his original plan to recruit Kakarot to the Frieza Force, effectively turning good at the drop of a hat out of circumstance. "Oh… this is not good for Raditz."
  • Raditz's Bad "Bad Acting" to trick Vegeta into thinking he's dead so that he'll leave Gine and Kakarot alone. It doesn't work, but it's the thought that counts.
    Raditz: (having brutally punched himself in the stomach) Oh, no! I'm-I'm mortally injured! Curse you, Raditz, you moron! Auuuugh!
• Raditz's "drinking problem" pun during the confrontation with Cell. Talk about Mood Whiplash!
