• The introduction to the siege of Ennakamuy. Oshtor, knowing that the general in charge is Dekoponpo, decides to set things up with having Jachdwalt and three soldiers taunt him, bringing up his various insecurities such as having only gotten his position thanks to his father, concluding with him letting some weather. Suffice to say, it worked quite well. Shinonon then decides to mimic her father with the other girls being horrified of her acting that way, and then Nekone closing things off by giving her "brother" a piece of her mind.
• While the Anju vs. Princess of Tuskur (Kuon) sequence is arguably a serious part of the story, Benawi and Kurou's reaction to the brawl of royals is essentially Pass the Popcorn with Rulutieh's puffs. Oshtor!Haku is even unnerved at their nonchalance over the brawl.
  Kurou: Now it gets interesting. Hey, Chief, you want me to grab you one of these puff things? They're pretty tasty.
  Benawi: Kurou. Behave.
  • At the end of the sequence, Kuon is urged to exit her carriage by a roaring pungent fart from Kurou. Turns out it's an unplanned part of a ploy for her to return back to her friends. If one remembers what's inside the puffs (sap-sweetened condensed milk), it implies that Kurou is lactose-intolerant.
    Kuon: Pretending to sleep, I should think.
    Kuon: Kurou!
    (Brrt?)
    He replies. With flatulence.
• The entire sequence of Kuon accidentally activating an Abh-Kamu is just one screw-up after another.
  • First, she finds a remote control and accidentally turns one on. The Abh-Kamu proceeds to chase them out of the Reliquary (because it's programmed to follow whoever has the remote).
  • Outside, Kuon goes into full What Does This Button Do? mode. Haku tries desperately to tell her NOT to touch one particular button, but she does. The Abh-Kamu goes into "emergency defense mode"... which means it starts attacking anything around it.
  • Kuon presses more buttons, causing the Abh-Kamu to up its emergency status each time. Haku exasperatedly grabs it out of her hands... and then does exactly the same thing.
    Abh-Kamu: Command accepted. Engaging "Total Area Annihilation" protocol.
    Haku: Are you kidding me!? How many combat modes do you have? You're a glorified hazmat suit!
  • Haku finally finds the "Emergency Shutdown" command, but it's password-locked. Haku guesses that the "default" password might still be in place, and decides to be dramatic:
    Haku: Innocent servant, hollow of form, hear my almighty words! PASSWORD!
  • It turns out the password actually is "password". The Abh-Kamu immediately kneels and shuts down in front of him, leaving all the Tuskur people absolutely awed. Haku meanwhile is thinking "I cannot believe that actually worked."
• The Onkamiyamukai priests have apparently gotten so fed up with Camyu running away from her duties as a priestess that they invented a spell specifically for sealing her magic powers: Camyu Riyaak (a play on "Ohn Riyaak", the Great Sealing spell used on Uistalnemetia). Then in the epilogue Camyu reveals that she spent three days developing a counter to it, and turns the sealing around on the priests.
• When Anju formally rewards and promotes her allies, the first few have objections or initially decline with varying reasons, but eventually accept. It gets to the point where Itak actually accepts with minimal fuss and Anju confusingly wonders why he doesn’t have an objection or issue with it. In response, Oshtor/Haku has to remind her that they’re there to accept their rewards, not to entertain her. He then remarks to himself that someone’s actually practicing a joke in the background while another is getting visibly anxious due to not knowing what to do to amuse Anju.
