In the opening credits, Trinity naps in his long johns in a kind of stretcher as his horse pulls him around. He's so lazy that he's not even phased when the horse drags him through a creek and gets him wet - in fact, he probably finds it refreshing. Then when the horse arrives into town, it whinnies as if to say "get up, you lazy bum, we're here!"
When Trinity goes into the general store to demand that they sell to the Mormons, he starts a brawl with three different men. During the fight, he manages to sidestep one brawler who is leaping onto him, causing him to fly down the stairs into the cellar, and slam another into a cash register, which flashes the words "Thank you!"
