- The fact that pretty much everyone can see the romantic tension between Izuku and Kyoka.
Arc 1: Bumblebee
- When Kyoka found out about Bumblebee, Mei at first attempted to threaten her into not telling anyone... only to later beg her not to tell anyone.
- Kyoka unconsciously using her jacks to jolt herself out of her stupor upon meeting All Might before even entering UA.
- When both Izuku and Kyoka were caught together, face-to-face during the Lunchroom emergency at U.A., Kyoka tried to salvage the situation.Kyoka: "Uh...h-hi...(Internally) HI?! That's the BEST you can do with this, Kyoka?!"
- A Black Comedy example: After Shatter and Dropkick are left completely baffled by Earth media after sampling clips of Super Sentai, Pokémon, Godzilla, and Segata Sanshiro, Dropkick considers it enough justification to raze the Earth.
- During the attack at the USJ, Izuku falls unconscious after having Momo's, ahem, assets land on his face when she falls on top of him.
- The kids running around screaming their heads off once Windblade reveals that the Decepticons are after them.
- When Sector Seven corners the house that the kids, Bumblebee and Windblade where in:Izuku: O-Okay, l-let's not panic here. A-After all, i-it's not like they a-actually KNOW y-you guys are here-
Random Sector Seven Officer: NON-BIOLOGICAL LIFE FORM! We know that you're here! Come out with your servos up, we have you completely surrounded!
(Everyone sets their eyes onto Izuku)
Kyoka: You were saying, Broccoli Boy?
Izuku: (Gulped and coughed into his hand) Uh, hehe, w-well... m-maybe they don't know that WE'RE here? I-If we go out there and act l-like nothing's wrong and w-we don't know what they're t-talking about-
Random Sector Seven Officer: We also know that you have four teenagers from U.A. High School in your possession! Surrender them to us peacefully and we will consider opening up negotiations!
(Everyone stares at Izuku with deadpan looks)
Izuku: (sighs and slumps forward) Well... g-guess that plan's out the window. - This gem when the Sector Seven agents cuff the girls:Momo: AH! W-Wait! This is all a huge misunderstanding! We really have no idea what you're-
Mei: Let go of me, you ingrates! Do you have any idea who my uncle is?! He's the best damn mechanic in the city of Tokyo and he helps out all the famous heroes with their rides! He's got connections, I tell ya! CONNECTIONS!
Kyoka: H-Hey!
(She tries jabbing them with her jacks but they were blocked by their body armor and was also soon placed with Quirk-suppressant gloves)
Kyoka: Oh, you've gotta be FUCKING kidding me! You assholes SERIOUSLY have no idea what you're doing!
Momo: (sweatdrops) Oh, what's the point? - Marissa devolving into a Fangirl once All Might appears.
Arc 2: Earthrise
- Kyoka getting jealous when Izuku kept getting rammed into by other girls.
- Izuku, Kyoka, and Momo internally freaking out when Mina found out about the existence of aliens and that the Autobots are disguised as vehicles. Followed by this gem:Kyoka: She knows too much! We gotta wipe her memory!
Izuku: What?! How?!
Kyoka: I dunno, Sector Seven MUST have some kinda mind-wiping technology, right? We could just...
(Cue Ochaco and Tenya laughing at Mina's "crackpot theory") - Starscream decides to pick a fight with All Might, thinking the Hero will be no issue to destroy. Cue Starscream having his ass handed to him in one punch. Followed by Starscream having this to say:Starscream: Ooooh... why yes, Lord Megatron, I WOULD like to pilot the Purple Griffon, thank you... (optics rolling to the back of his head)
- The way Red Alert came to a halt in front of Optimus after finding out he was fighting on low energon reserves is similar to a father catching his mischievous son red-handed. Made even funnier, due to the fact that Optimus is Red Alert's superior.Optimus: Um... I can explain?
Red Alert: Lift. Now. - Blastwave decides to taunt Starscream over his recent loss and humilliation. Screamer answers the taunt by punching him in the nether regions and flipping him over. Before fainting, what's Blastwave's response to Makeshift commenting on the expected outcome?Blastwave: Worth It.
- After the kids leave for the Sport Festival, Optimus Prime asks Red Alert to help with an important task…to find a signal so they watch the festival, the Autobots all face faulting is the icing on the cake.
- Starscream wishing to have Monoma be made into a Decepticon as he like how the latter demeans and humiliates his enemies to their faces. His brothers, Skywarp and Thundercracker on the other hand:Thundercracker: ...Sounds to me like he'd just be a mini version of Starscream.
Skywarp: And Primus knows we don't need TWO of 'em. - Not only does Shoto think Izuku is All Might's secret love-child but Orion Pax (Optimus Prime's holoform) is his father, making him wonder if Izuku had two dads.
- Mei and Tenya's fight is just as funny here as in canon, leaving all the Autobots and Decepticons perplexed at what was basically one giant commercial for support items. The Decepticons in particular saw that she was basically torturing him with the items...despite not being made for torture. Even Megatron doesn't know what to make of it except this comment.Megatron: Well, that was...interesting.
- While watching the Sports Festival Blastwave chugs so much oil he ends up getting drunk and when he tries to punch the screen in anger at Present Mic's voice, he falls over the Seeker trio.
- When Izuku, Kyoka, and Bumblebee spot Flare Up and Itsuka being chased by Vehicons:Izuku: ...This situation feels WAY too familiar.
Kyoka: Ugh, great, the newbie isn't on Earth for a day yet and already they're being chased down by...hold on. (eyes widened when she notices Kendo) Is... is that Kendo from Class 1-B?!
Izuku: What?! Oh god, this is way too familiar! Bee, we need to go save her... and then hopefully make it so that she doesn't see either you or the new bot in robot mode.
Kyoka: We're gonna have to break a few speed limits... again. (notices Bumblebee smirking) Uh... Bee, what're you-
Bumblebee: "Zrkt-START YOUR ENGINE! SURPRISE DIVE!"(speeds off while Izuku and Kyoka cry out in surprise) - Kyoka trying to pull a Jedi Mind Trick to get Momo to go to Edgeshot's Agency for her internships.
- While the other students of 1-A were perturbed over the fact that Itsuka, Setsuna, Ibara, and Tetsutetsu were now aware of the Autobot's existence, Mina was super casual about it; much to her friends' dismay.
- Swift's Accidental Innuendo when Starscream asked how Blastwave survived Optimus' attack.Swift: "What can I say? Blastwave's not just thick in the head, but thick everywhere else…" (Starscream tries to point out what she said) "Ah-ah, don't bother, realized the moment I said it. Just forget those words ever left my vocal processors."
- Jazz pointing out that both Izuku and Kyoka were holding hands. The two were so embarrassed that Kyoka, in particular, quickly rushed inside Jazz's alt mode and crawled into a fetal position as she made an embarrassed whimpering noise.
- Izuku and Kyoka both slapping their cheeks together to snap out of their embarrassed states so that they can focus on the mission at hand. Made even better when they both noticed palm marks on each other's cheeks.
- Kyoka, in a fit of frustration with her father's overprotectiveness, agrees with her parents on bringing Izuku over to dinner once their hero internships are over. Once she's realized what she's done, Kyoka's worried that her mom will show off her baby pictures.
- While the moment was tense, the way Kyoka gave out a yell once Jinx entered her room without making a sound and rushed to her accordion as a weapon is worth a chuckle.
- Blastwave wakes up from stasis saying some really strange things before proceeding to beat up Barricade, Frenzy, and Starscream, singing, shooting in the air, and then he tries to eat the head of an unconscious Skywarp while Flatline and the femmes try to stop him. Unicronus can only mumble that he's Surrounded by Idiots.
- When Izuku, Ochaco, and Itsuka wake up after being knocked out by Swindle they get embarrassed when they realize they were pressed against each other.
- Kyoka commanding the Mini-Con Council like a Drill Sergeant is certainly amusing.
- While Scythe and Anti-Blaze have autonomous alt modes, Checkpoint turns into a gun that has to be used by larger Cybertronians, making him plop to the ground and asking Izuku to wield him.
- Right before the heroes make their escape from Swindle's ship, Windblade has one final gesture for the Decepticon that she learned from humans: Flipping the Bird.
- When Swindle sees his ship explode with all of his products on it, he can only drop to his knees and declare “I’m Ruined.”, before burying himself into the mud to cry.
- When Optimus and the Autobots obtained Trion's Quill, they all gazed at it with amazement... while the students just gawked at how mundane it looked with Kyoka even lamenting how they nearly got killed for a feather.
- When Arcee encourages Izuku to become Kyoka's life partner, Izuku denies it as Momo agrees by saying that marriage is a huge commitment. Arcee could only look confused as she asks if marriage is a human delicacy shared by humanity causing Izuku, Ochaco, Momo, and Brian (Bumblebee's holoform) to Face Fault.
- Crust's training room is filled with spiked balls on chains, laser cannons, spiked walls, and spinning saw blades; making it look like a torture chamber. Mina, Eijiro, and Tetsutetsu can only gaze at it with dropped jaws.Mina: ...We're all gonna die.
- Mirko's way of waking up Izuku at 4:30 in the morning? Playing Reveille in a bugle, right in his ear. Izuku was very close to dropping an F-Bomb.
- The Snake Eyes Hero Agency watching the news had some funny moments.
- Kenzie spots Trakker and mentions him as the guy that Fowler brought with him the other day. Kyoka simply refers to him as the guy she barely talked to, resulting in everyone in the room to Face Fault.
- Kyoka's Mood Whiplash as she leaped onto the TV much to the shock of everyone as she noticed Izuku in the middle of the warzone alongside Optimus, Mirko, the Autobots, and the other heroes. The punk rocker then yells out Izuku's name further shocking everyone watching.
- When Kyoka calls Izuku and the latter answers the call, the punk rocker literally yelled out his full name and demands to know what the hell he's up to.
- This is made even better when Izuku tries to smooth talk his way out by pretending to not know what Kyoka was talking about. Kyoka wasn't having any of it as she literally saw him in Hosu on TV.
- While the end of their conversation was Heartwarming, Kyoka has no idea that Snake Eyes, Jinx, and Mackenzie witnessed and heard all of it with the latter two wearing knowing smiles. Guess Kyoka has more people who are going to tease her regarding her crush.Mackenzie: (Thinking) Oh...she down BAD.
- During the fight with Stain, Izuku deploys his new helmet, and the Kamen Rider resemblance is enough to cause those who see it to be left flabbergasted for a moment, including Stain himself.Mirko: (gives Izuku a thumbs up) Hell yeah, kid. NOW we're talkin'!
Todoroki: …Midoriya. When did you… become a Kamen Rider?
Izuku: I didn't, Todoroki, it's just an homage.
Mirko: But a very GOOD homage. That said… ya could've at least said "Henshin" before putting the helmet on. Plus, ya should've done a super cool transformation pose, too. THAT lets your enemies know you mean business.
Izuku: COULD WE PLEASE STICK TO THE PROGRAM?!
Stain: (smirks in amusement) I suggest you listen to your Rider friend there.
(Izuku Face Faults) - During Stain's second wind, Bumblebee arrives and finally takes the Hero Killer out... by going through a Groundbridge, and throws Stain into the wall and pavement several times... in clear view of Mirko, Todoroki, and Native. It's only after Bee celebrates a bit at taking out Stain that he notices the three.Izuku: Bee… you have the worst possible timing I've ever seen.
Bumblebee: Zrrkt—Uh…my bad? - Mirko suddenly knocks out Native with a kick so that he doesn't remember seeing Bumblebee in robot mode.
- And Shoto finally understands that Izuku doesn't have two fathers.
- When Sky Byte first appears he attempts to recite a haiku, only to be interrupted by a bird of prey. He does what any normal person would do: he shoots it with a torpedo before he finishes his haiku.
- When Jinx asks Kyouka through the phone about Izuku, she answers with He Is Not My Boyfriend. Snake Eyes actually puts a hand on his mask as if to hold in a laugh.
- The sheer bafflement from Kyouka at the sight of Sky-Byte swimming on the ground and flying in the air, as well as the fact that he transforms into a shark. She loudly declares that she is done trying to figure out Cybertronians.
- Sideswipe notices that the Mini-Con panel is reacting to Red Alert, so he simply places it on his upturned palm to wake the Mini-Con.
- Longarm's incredulous reaction at almost everything that Mei says and does.Longarm: What is happening?
- Mirko gets so frustrated at not being invited to fight the Decepticons that she grabs poor Izuku and shakes him like a rag doll until Gran Torino tells her to stop.
- Mei lampshades that new people find out about the transformers every two weeks or so, so she even wrote a welcoming message that she plays for the newly arrived G.I. Joes.
- Sideswipe and Sunstreaker show the new outfits they got for their holoforms, which were suggested by Kaminari and Kirishima. They're so garish everyone present, even All Might, are laughing uncontrollably. Strongarm even takes a picture with her optics.
- While Cobra in this universe is generally more competent and dangerous, apparently they have tried to enact plans that wouldn't be out of place in the 80s cartoon, like Cobra Commander trying to harvest the energy of the sun to wipe out the state of Florida. Why? Because he was annoyed at the state receiving news coverage for stupid stuff.
- While Setsuna, Mina, and Kaminari (who goes into a Troubled Fetal Position) are utterly dismayed at their mentors' respective Training from Hell, Eijiro and Tetsutetsu are simply pumped about their progress.
- When Sideswipe and Strongarm get in a fight about the previous chapter's picture of the Lambo twins' ridiculous outfits, General Hawk sets them straight and makes them do push-ups.
- Starscream (who can be pretty hammy himself) thinks Sky-Byte is overselling his lie about killing Jetfire to Optimus.
- Optimus criticizes Sky-Byte's composing ability in order to give Shoto the chance to blast him with ice and send him flying.
- Just as Mina, Setsuna, Eijiro, Denki, and Tetsutetsu, along with their mentors and the Lambo twins, resolve to go down fighting against the army of Vehicons, the Mini-Cons arrive to provide backup. While their assistance is welcome, it also ruined their planned Dying Moment of Awesome.
- Sky-Byte goes from ecstatic to horrified when he realizes Starscream is flying too close to the Energon after being electrified, forcing him to stop him before everyone blows up sky-high.
- Swift ends up getting blown to pieces after the Autobots overpower her supermode, but she still declares she’s still strong, albeit completely dazed and deluded.
- Mirko's boisterous nature, even after breaking both her legs while denting the Leapers, causes Optimus to facepalm.
- When Roadblock rips off Blastwave's cannons, they both catch on fire. Resulting in the giant Decepticon running and screaming.
- Not only does G.I. Joe have a theme song like the cartoon, they even play it whenever someone says "And Knowing Is Half the Battle", to the teenagers' bafflement.
- Edgeshot gets so exasperated at Mirko's antics that he drops her to the floor, even though Marissa points out her legs are still broken.
- What was Jetfire's reaction after seeing the Nebulans speak with thick Australian accents and that some Cybertronians are picking it up too? Screw This, I'm Out of Here!
- Brainstorm's sheer bafflement that the Protectobots' great idea to catch the Blark-Barg is a simple net.
- When the Autobots call Axlegrease a Decepticon, she's confused by the term as she never heard of it before. Tap-Out then points out the insignia on her chest and the Junkion simply states that she only put it on because she saw another bot had it and thought it was cool looking, so she got one herself and even changed her paint to match it, causing the Autobots to fall over in disbelief.
- When Izuku and Mirko were saying their goodbyes, the Rabbit hero gave the former a smooch on the cheek, which put Izuku in a catatonic state.
- Back at the Autobots' base, Izuku was still left in a daze by the kiss given to him by Mirko. When Kyoka snaps him out of it, Izuku decides to keep quiet about the kiss to avoid Kyoka's wrath.
- When Kaida notices and points out that Izuku's new helmet and scarf make him look similar to Kamen Rider, an exasperated Izuku wonders aloud whether he should change his Hero name to "Kamen Rider Deku".
