- Artemisia's Praetorian Guard looking at each other with blank looks (as they are wearing Immortal-esque masks) when they heard Artemisia's sex sounds when Artemisia "invited" Thermistocles to discuss the Athenians' surrender to the Persian Army.
- Really, the whole sex scene between Artemisia and Thermistocles is so ridiculously an example of Refuge in Audacity and Crosses the Line Twice that no one would blame you for laughing your ass off. This appears to have been the point.
- Thermistocles finally refusing to join Artemisia, and her resulting reaction.
- After returning to his men, when asked what happened during the meeting, Thermistocles has a look on his face, like even he doesn't quite believe what just happened.
- Later when they're fighting he forgoes his sword for a moment and seriously slugs her in the face. She looks a bit befuddled for a moment, then comments:
You fight much harder than you fuck. - The hilariously hammy line from Thermistocles: "Who will share their wine with me?!"
- Someone at the Athenian summit yells: "Fuck those muscle-bound boy-lovers!" when describing the Spartans. Back in those days, homosexuality was considered much purer than loving simply women, and muscled men were the desired quality. So while it may be offensive in modern times, that sentence may well have been a compliment and an announcement of interest. Not to mention that it's a Call-Back to the first movie, where one of the Spartans refers to the Athenians as boy-lovers.
- When Thermistocles ventures into Sparta to propose an alliance against the Persians, we see for once how The Spartan Way would appear from the perspective of an outsider, particularly with how one young recruit is being ganged-up on by four larger vets and is somehow expected to take all of them at once. The boy gets a few good hits in but is predictably overpowered and beaten hard. It's a brutal spectacle but Thermistocles' response to it is funny in its condescension, conciseness, and relatability to any other uninformed audience that would have witnessed such a exhibition.Thermistocles: [scoffing] Spartans.
- Artemisia requests a report. One of her doomed generals starts to protest as he's put in iron weights and thrown overboard, sinking to his death. Artemisia then casually asks "Report?" again.
