As this is a Funny Moments page, spoilers will be left unmarked. You Have Been Warned!

Yes, even an absolutely terrifying Analog Horror series like The Walten Files has some humor sprinkled throughout.

    open/close all folders

    Company Introductory Tape
  • The first tape for the series opens with the cast of animatronics singing several songs to welcome us. While the first two songs are perfectly normal, the last of them, "Old MacDonald", has Bon letting out realistic pig screeches. Per the norms of Analog Horror this would usually be an early indicator about something being off, but the fact that this happens before stuff gets creepy and the sequence is otherwise normal implies that both Jack and Felix intended the song to be like this, instead making it come off darkly hilarious.
  • The second tape is a video about Little Bon hosting a sleepover. Little Bon is never actually shown letting his friends in; when Sha arrives and knocks on his door, Bon peeks out through the mail slot.

    Relocate Project

    Bunnyfarm
  • Sophie messes up when naming her save file, which ends up displaying her name as SOAPIE. Jenny laughs about it with Sophie, jokingly calling her a dumbass.
  • This is the first time we've seen Bon fully in-character, and he's oddly humorous with his vaugely Bugs Bunny styled voice and just how absolutely done he sounds with others' incompetentce.
Bon: After learning that no one remembered the Fruit Festival or to bring fruits "Oh, you dumb salamanders. ALWAYS forgetting important stuff..."
  • Banny's utter enthusiasm with literally everything is both adorable and hilarious, with some of her facial expressions sealing the deal.
  • While it should be unsettling due to it being caused by a glitch, Bon suddenly vanishing after only sputtering a "Ye-" is unintentionally hilarious, feeling like something you'd find in a shitpost.
    • Similarly, Billy's surprise entrance:
    Billy: BILLY!
    Banny: WHAT
  • When Sophie enters the level called "Hippo House":
    Sophie: Thoooose are pigs.
  • After Banny lets the pigs out, look behind Holly into the trees on the right. Bon has appeared. That is the canonically 7ft tall animatronic Bon, who is now wedged in a tree and it looks hilarious.
  • Depending on your sense of humor, the spot-the-differences section can be darkly funny with how the game does not see any difference between the face of a man and that same man's literal corpse.
  • Numerous ascended memes show up throughout the video that had their roots in the TWF discord server, with a few examples being Sha stuck in a burger, Bon in a carrot suit, and the nickname 'Soapie'.

    Bon's Burgers Plush Ad
  • We open with Banny (with an eyepatch), Bon and Boozoo inside a cave looking for treasure. They've evidently spent lots of time there, as shown by Boozoo's overgrown mustache. Bon in particular is pretty pissed.
Bon: We're in the middle of nowhere! It was a stupid idea to come here you idiots! Now how are we going to get out?
  • Boozoo calling Bon "Mr. B".
  • Once Boozoo spots the treasure, Bon immediately goes back on his words and claims credit for finding it. Even though he just called it a "stupid idea to come here" a moment ago. Banny's deadpan reaction to Bon's response is the icing on the cake.
Bon: See Banny? I told you this was the right place. You guys never listen to me.
    Banny: But... but I-
    Bon: Yeah yeah, excuses excuses.
    Banny: (Unamused) Whatever.
  • The commercial states that the plushies will only be made when a minimum 400 orders are put in. The announcer states that if not, then no one will get a plushie—"Including you, Banny!" The plushie in Banny's hands explodes, causing Banny to Freak Out. The video then does what we've seen many times throughout the Walten Files series, and eerily overlays a photo over a character's screaming face...except that instead of a Nightmare Face, it's just a frowning Banny with a tear running down her face.
  • The Bon plush doing the funny Club Penguin dance.

    Boozoo's Holiday Message
  • The commercial starts with Boozoo giving what seems like a normal Christmas speech about the True Meaning of Christmas, only to reveal he just wants people to buy lots of stuff for the holidays.
Boozoo: What, you thought this was going to be some boring wholesome Christmas message thinking about the value of the holidays? Well you better think again!
  • A return to the basement from "The Mysterious House", complete with shots of the bodies of Tammy, Ducky, and the other kids? Disturbing. Pumpkin Rabbit using some of the official posters to decorate the same room, even giving a thumbs up to the camera? Hilarious.
    • Similarly, the bit about the new official sweater includes a recap of "Boozoo's Ghosts", ending on the image of Uncle Boozoo's censored corpse, now wearing the sweater.
  • Near the end of the video, Boozoo can be heard talking to his original counterpart, and the original Boozoo is clearly confused about his Christmas counterpart.

    Showstoppers Plushie Cartoon
  • Banny's first magic trick for her show is to do the "detaching thumb" trick, complete with realistic hands.
  • Boozoo's hilariously Uncanny Valley shocked expression when Banny turns Sha into a plushie.
  • Bon comes back from getting coffee to see that Banny has seemingly made Sha and Boozoo disappear. What is his reaction?
Bon: I HAVE NO EMPLOYEES!! NOW HOW AM I GOING TO MAKE MONEY?!
    • When Banny tries to reassure him that he still has her, he cries even harder.
  • The Sha and Boozoo plushies doing the same Club Penguin dance that the Bon plushie did in the previous ad.
  • Bon accuses the plushie Boozoo and Sha of not being the real ones.
Boozoo: Could a fake Boozoo do this?
    Bon: Yeah, sounds about right.
  • Bon tells the plushies that while they're cute, they still have to work, and asks if they can still make themselves useful. What follows is a live action segment of the Sha and Boozoo plushies "cooking" some hamburgers in a kitchen. There's even text at the bottom of the screen saying "Plushies don't actually cook you hamburgers".
    • At one point, the Sha plushie is put between two hamburger buns, referencing the "Sha burger" meme.

    The Bontergeist (Plush Video)
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business is on full display here, when Bon and Boozoo are called in to exorcise a demon from Banny, which has made her smarter than usual.
  • In addition, an apparent Deus ex Machina appears to save them, in the Boozoo in Bon's hands inexplicably turning into the "Convenient Book to Defeat Demons", much to Possessed Banny's despair. But as Bon is about to begin the ritual to draw the demon out of Banny, he suddenly confesses that he can't read the book.
Bon: Here weee GOOOO- (deadpan) I can't read this.
Boozoo: What do you mean you can't read this? Bon, you know how to...read, right?
(Bon gives Boozoo a feeble look)
    Boozoo: Ri- Oh, goddammit...
    Bon: Can't you read it?
Boozoo: Yeah, sure. Uh...did you bring my glasses?
(Cut to Bon making the exact same look with a Vertigo Effect on top)
Boozoo: Bon. ...Bon, did you bring my glasses like I told you?
    Bon: (deadpan) We're dead.
  • Bon, after giving up at Sha being turned into a plushie, is spurned back into action, not by her saying she'll make them suffer, or how she'll destroy the town, and burn an orphanage. No, he's spurned into action...by her promising she'll make Bon's Burgers' food...CHEAPER! And give the employees...ACTUAL HEALTHY WORKING CONDITIONS! Both of these are emphasized with the "Walten Files" signature, the brief overlaying of a character's Nightmare Face, to accentuate the "horror" of the words.
  • Bon demands that the demon enter him instead... and it transforms him into his Bunnyfarm cutscene form, where he suddenly becomes much more friendly and mild-mannered. Banny freaks out, thinking that this upsets the natural order, and pushes him out the window. What follows is Bon rotoscoped over John Wick falling down the stairs. It must be seen to be believed.
Bunnyfarm Bon: OW! MY SPLEEN! MY SPLEEN!
    • The singular frame of rotoscoped bon standing upright and smiling at the camera.
    • The final segment is of Bon, post stair tumble, vomitting up the demon and returning to normal with the demon itself manifesting as the star of the video: A plush of the animatronic Bon just after he mutilated Brian, coming with Brian's severed arm as an accessory. Bon proceeds to make lemonade with the lemons he was given and start selling it, with half of his sales pitch being bullet points like "It can take any damage" and "It can deatroy your enemies" (With Brian being mauled to death again, by the plush. ) The other half is Bon wailing in agony and begging people to buy it so he can pay his hospital bills.

    CyberFun Tech
  • Susan and Charles' friendly banter is very entertaining, and are almost a Straight Man and Wise Guy routine; with the somewhat cold and very straight-laced Susan bouncing off well against the very laidback and somewhat bumbling Charles. Exemplified best when this hiccup happens during Movement Testing with Banny.
Charles: Alright, everything seems fine so far.
Susan: Should the robot be so close to the table?
    Charles: I...don't think so- Oh-!
    (Loud crashing sounds)
Charles: Shit! Fuck! We'll have to start this again-
Susan: Fuck, I told you to watch for the table, man!
Charles: Well, damnit! Hehe- I'm sorry! (Giggling) It was kinda funny though!
  • An incredibly morbid example; After Bon finishes stuffing Susan into the Banny animatronic, he stops to admire his work by clasping his hands together gleefully as he whistles a tune, as if she'd walked out of a changing room in an absolutely perfect dress. From his reaction, you'd swear making them "beautiful" wasn't a euphemism if it wasn't for the fact that he's coated in her blood after he just got done mutilating her beyond recognition.
