• In Tom-Fu, Tom gets a headband with Chinese letters that translate to "The Pizza is Late".
  • Later in the episode Tuffy tries to say (in Chinese) "Prepare to Suffer", but instead says "Seppear of Pruff". Upon realizing this, Tuffy switches the letters to say his intended sentence.
• In Holed-Up, one of Jerry's attempts to free Tom from his mousehole is using explosives. This causes the house to explode and Tom, Jerry, and the entire house get launched in the sky. They all fall down to Earth again, and the house falls on its foundation and everything inside the house falls back into place and, as the cherry on top, the roof falls on with a clang.
• At one point in "Art of the Deal", all the dogs during a poker are saying what not to do to Tom while doing said things. One of things they list is peeing on Tom.
• In Cat-Astrophe, Tom destroys an actual meteor; also doubles as the series' (possibly the entire franchise's) Signature Scene and Moment of Awesome
• Jerry plays a magic trick and pulls out a cucumber on Tom.
• In the episode "Fortune Hunters," a dog named Stinker hires Tom and Jerry to find his lost fortune, promising them a cut. The two detectives go through a lot of misfortune to do so. Then it turns out the fortune they were after was just a fortune cookie Stinker didn't have a chance to open and read. The fortune reads that Stinker is about to be chased all over the city by two former friends. Stinker laughs at this before noticing the Death Glares Tom and Jerry are giving him, at which point he runs for it with the furious detectives chasing him.
