• The entire scene with the beggar/accordion player and his minkey.
• The follow up scene with this exchange:
  Clouseau: He was blind! How can a blind man be a lookout?
  Dreyfuss: How can an idiot be a policeman? Answer me that!
  Clouseau: It’s very simple, all he has to do is enlist.
  Dreyfuss: Shut up!
• And a few moments later, Dreyfuss suspends Clouseau without pay.
  Dreyfuss: Do you believe me if I said that I'm not going to get you suspended for six months? Do you believe me?
  Clouseau: If you say so sir, yes.
  Dreyfuss: Because I'm a bigger liar than the beggar. You are suspended for six months without pay!
  Clouseau: Six months?
  Dreyfuss: Effective imediately. Have you anything to say?
  Clouseau: Could you loan me 50 francs?
  Dreyfuss: Well, I, uh...
  (Dreyfuss reaches into his pocket, before catching himself)
  Dreyfuss: Will you get out?! Out of my sight!
• Chief Inspector Dreyfuss repeatedly confusing a gun shaped cigarette lighter with an actual handgun, including shooting François in the arm and himself in the face twice!
  Dreyfuss: Don’t just stand there, idiot. Call a doctor. And then help me find my nose!
• Clouseau in the Lugashi museum:
  Clouseau: Of course he would need a very slippery floor.
  Lugashi Inspector: Therefore the wax.
  Clouseau: The wax? *Pratfall*
  Lugashi Inspector: Are you alright?
  Clouseau: Of course I am alright! I am examining the wax!
• Clouseau's car being sabotaged, causing him to crash into a swimming pool, then soon after ANOTHER car he is driving is sabotaged, causing him to crash into the same pool while they're towing out the first car.
• Dreyfuss threatens Clouseau:
  Dreyfuss: If you are not out of this office in 5 seconds, I shall not be responsible for my actions!
  Clouseau: 5 seconds is nothing! I could easily be out of here in 3!
• Cato in the refrigerator.
• Followed by Cato ducking as Clouseau leaps at him, resulting in a spectacular slow-motion crash into the kitchen.
• Clouseau arriving in Gstaad, telling a taxi driver to follow Lady Litton's cab. The driver of his cab then hops out and begins pursuing on foot, leaving Clouseau behind. Then, while Clouseau is walking to the hotel, he comes upon the cab... and his driver is still diligently jogging after it.
• The entire sequence in Lady Litton's hotel room. For starters, the vacuum has way too much power; When accidentally pointed at the parrot, the camera cuts away, and when it cuts back, all you see are feathers and two bent cage bars. Then he tries cracking a safe, which turns out to actually be a radio. Then there's the lightbulb that keeps jumping out of the lamp. what really sells the whole sequence is when Clouseau foolishly puts his finger into the lamp socket, gets electrified and goes flying across the room. He rises from behind the bed, with the classic electric hairstyle, and a glowing bulb in his hand.
  • Not to mention the slippery floor in the sauna room where Clouseau and the bellboy are hiding.
• Dreyfus calls Clouseau while he's trying under an alias to befriend Lady Litton.
  Clouseau: (on the phone) Who is that speaking?
  Dreyfus: (giggling crazily with a Twitchy Eye) Don't you know? Can't you guess? I'll give you a clue. This is the man who hates you. This is the man who more than anything else in the world would like to see you dead and buried.
  Clouseau: Are you the head waiter that works at the little bistro on the Rue des Beaux-Arts?
  Dreyfus: No! This is Chief Inspector Dreyfus! Idiot!
• When Dreyfus orders Clouseau to arrest Lady Litton.
  Clouseau: (on the phone) I would be delighted to arrest her, yes! But on what charge? It could be embarrassing if I go to her and say, "I arrest you in the name of the law," and she says "On what charge?" and I do not have the answer.
• Dreyfus on at least 2 occasions tries to shoot Clouseau with a sniper rifle. Both times Clouseau ducks at the last minute for an unrelated reason; the first time he sneezes and the second time he's tricked into thinking his fly is undone. The second time actually saves Clouseau's life by killing someone holding him at gunpoint for double the laughs.
  Police Chief: (Amazed at the fruit exploding just as he sneezes) ... Gesundheit.

  Clouseau: Would you believe me if I told you your fly is undone?
  Col. Sharki: By a remarkable coincidence, so is yours. (Clouseau bends down to check and Dreyfuss's shot whizzes over his head and kills Col. Sharki)
  Dreyfus: (Barely holding back tears) Oh no, not again...
• And the ending, with Clouseau and Cato destroying a restaurant with their fighting, climaxing with Clouseau's unintentional plunge into the kitchen. And then we cut to Dreyfuss in a padded cell and straitjacket, scrawling "KILL CLOUSEAU" with a crayon held in his toes.
