• The old woman and her daughter getting "interrogated" by the KCIA by squatting on a table for hours after the former tries to "make" Chief Agent Ju consider her daughter for the president. That happened before they're dumped on the road.
• Director Kim making a last statement that he shouldn't leave loose ends like a samurai.
  • The doctor snarks on him.
  Doctor: Samurai my ass.
  • Director Kim asks Colonel Min if his bad breath is a symptom that he's getting liver disease.
  Kim: Does it smell really bad?
  Min: I've been smelling it for ages, sir.
• The KCIA agents congregating on how the DSC can make the most innocent of comments or actions a justification of labeling someone a spy or a communist.
• A KCIA agent interrogating a suspected communist in the detention center tells him that Picasso joined with the Spanish Communist Party.^note He joined with the French Communist Party. This is most likely an intentional error, given the movie's genre.
• Cha Ji-Chul casually asking where did his pants go off to.
  • Not to mention his Large Ham moment when he address all of the soldiers assembled.
• Some of the high school students intentionally leaving when they're supposed to stand still for the national anthem since they can't stand all day to pay respects.
• President Park acting as a dirty old man.
  • Secretary Yang's yes man antics as well.
• Shin Jae-soon's attempts to play it cool with Ju. He calls her smug.
  • She and Shim Soo-bong's codename in the KCIA is oysters.
• Chief Agent Ju gets a Flat "What" expression when one of the KCIA agents recruited did serve in the ROKMC despite his Book Dumb looks.
  • He's seen squatting on the grounds of the KCIA with an M-16 with an expression that would suggest that he's taking a dump.
• One of the KCIA agents wants to bail out when Colonel Min shows up and asks him where he's going.
• Director Kim's gun jamming and his Suddenly Shouting moment, which really happened on that day.
  • It's really satisfying to see Yang turn to a Dirty Coward.
• The exaggerations when one of the PSS agents get shot in the neck with a huge amount of blood squirting out of it. And Ju's disgust towards it.
• Cha calling out for the guards when Shin insists that he's going to cause more trouble. Kim goes back to the dining room and shoots him for his troubles.
• Kim drinking the water from the teapot. The waiter doesn't bother to stop him. The chief-of-staff just looks at him while finishing his food.
• Army Chief of Staff Jeong Seung-hwa couldn't get past the gates leading to to ROKA headquarters due to the MPs not recognizing him out of uniform. Which leads to this hilarious exchange.
  Seung-hwa: I'm the Army Chief-of-Staff. Open the gate!
  MP #1: What's going on?
  MP #2: He's says he's the Army Chief-of-Staff.
  MP #1: Tell him to leave!
  Seung-hwa: Get the officer on duty over here!
  MP #2: Shit... He wants the officer on duty.
  MP #1: Tell him to fuck off!
  MP #2: Hear that?
  Seung-hwa: I'm dead serious!
  • Later on...
  Seung-hwa: Shit, I should've come in my own car...

  • He's later seen dressing up in his uniform, making complains.
• Shim and Shin having vodka shots to get over the shock that the president was shot in front of them.
• After Kim was detained by DSC soldiers, one of them insists that he shouldn't talk since he's pinned down onto the floor. The soldier also insist that he's not tense while keeping a grip on him.
• Shim Sang-hyo's Big Eater moments in the epilogue when under arrest.
