• Pliable loftily telling Obstinate that he sees no harm in changing his mind after spending the entire scene proving it.
• When Christian goes missing soon after Faithful, the lower supervisor dashes into his superior's office in a panic to report the new loss, only to find him scorched and wild-haired from Apollyon's wrath. He immediately calms down, cheerfully commenting that the supervisor clearly already knows.
• When Watchful at the house Beautiful calls him, Christian takes courage to sprint past the lions...but enters going so fast he knocks Watchful down in the middle of his encouraging speech.
• The giant Despair's wife enters ranting about her marriage and how she should have listened to her mother and picked someone else. When she spots Christian and Hopeful escaping, she wakes her husband, but has to switch to Sickeningly Sweethearts mode to avoid causing him a fit from excitement.
