• During Inspector Gold's cancer storyline, she tries to keep it secret from the relief, but PC Johansen finds out early on and eventually gives it away to the Station Reception Officer JT. He then proceeds to ignore her obvious desire for secrecy and starts a collection for her among the relief, later presenting her with a large bouquet of flowers wishing her a speedy recovery. Gina calmly accepts them and walks off before handing them to Smithy (who also found out early on). "Put those in water. Preferably the Thames."
