  • In the Mutanimals miniseries, Lindsey discovers that when Pigeon Pete gets philosophical, he... doesn't quite ponder the same topics as most people:
Pete: Here's what I'm saying. You have regular cola, okay? Then you also have cherry cola and lemon cola and vanilla cola! What do they have in common? Cherry, lemon, vanilla: All fruits!
    Lindsey: Pete, vanilla isn't —
Pete: But what's the best fruit?
Lindsey: Hmm. That's pretty subjective. It depends on personal taste, culture, exposure to —
Pete: Right! Blueberries! So why isn't there a blueberry cola?!
    • This gets a call-back in the last issue, when Old Hob tells Madame Null to find something else to occupy her time with:
Hob: Cure cancer. Set up a mining colony on Venus. Develop a new sports drink.
    Pete: Or a blueberry cola!
    Hob: ...or a blueberry cola.
    • In the first issue of said series, Hob reveals he placed a tracking device on Pete, which causes a concerned Mondo Gecko to ask if he did the same to the rest of them. Cue a Beat Panel, followed by (an obviously lying) Hob flatly stating that he did not, and Mondo is just being paranoid.
  • Issue 65 is a Christmas Issue chock full of hilarity.
    • Michelangelo doles out roles to his brothers as if this Christmas party is a very important mission. Donatello is put in charge of illumination (lights), Raph is put in charge of security, and Leo is assigned to keep things from getting too chaotic.
    • Woody arrives with pizza (naturally), and has a Love at First Sight moment when he sees Angel. Michelangelo warns Woody that Angel's tougher than Raph, but Woody reassures him that it takes a lot to scare him. Cue Slash crashing the party (with candy!) and Woody immediately getting a Bring My Brown Pants expression.
Woody: I think my spleen just burst.
    • Shortly after Slash's arrival, the Mutanimals (minus Old Hob) arrive, having heard about the party from Pigeon Pete's (unmutated) cousin. Pete comes bearing Worm Goulash and Karaoke.
Michelangelo: Uh, thanks Pete. I'll just put this way... waaaaaaay over here.
    • Leonardo politely takes Woody's coat when he arrives, but this eventually transitions into him being the designated coat checker as everyone else dumps their coats into his arms.
    • Herman spikes the Eggnog, and later, is shown completely drunk.
    • Woody makes a move on Angel after seeing her Under the Mistletoe, and gets eggnog dumped on his head.
      Woody: "Totally Worth It."
    • Pigeon Pete proves he's as bad a singer as he is a chef.
Sally: (covering her ears) I think I prefer his worm goulash to his karaoke!
Michelangelo: (having his fingers plugged in his ear holes) Huh?!
      • Slash, however, enjoys Pete's singing, even seen dancing in the background when he starts singing outside.
    • Donatello sets up a spectacular light display all over the church, and ends up taking out half the city's power grid when he activates it.
      Raphael: Nice going, Griswold.
      Donatello: Oops.
  • The otherwise very tense issue 112 gives us these two moments:
    • Mona Lisa talks with Donatello about how her parents shunned her because of her mutation. Then she asks about Donny and his brothers, leading to Donny revealing to her they were originally normal animals who mutated way before the mutagen bomb, that they are only a few years old, and that they are reincarnated souls from Feudal Japan who spoke with the ghost of their mother. Cue a Beat Panel before Mona goes “what the heck!”.
    • After a support group for mutated humans turns violent over the actions of the Mutanimals and Mikey is accidentally touched by a poisonous Frog mutant, everybody decides they can’t let Hob continue to rule over Mutant Town and that they need a mayor, which leads Sally to ask who would even want to run for the position. Cut to all of them immediately deciding she would make a good mayor and starting to plan an election campaign. Sally's reaction at the end of the issue?
      Sally: Oh God.
