• In the pilot short of the series, we see Ben, Kim, Danny, Jake, and Jenny trying to figure out a plan of attack. Ben just opts to jump in and kick some butt by himself and everyone has to tell him the various reasons why that's a BAD IDEA!
  Ben: My plan is simple: I go in, kick butt, we win.
  Jake and Danny: (sighs)
  Kim: We need more of a plan than that, Ben!
  Ben: And HOW is that not a plan?
  Jake: We're outnumbered!
  Jenny: They know how to fight us!
  Danny: And you're a glory hog, dude!
• In Resurrection, Rick blows off Ford's concern of the growing threat of Aku, thinking he's got it in the bag after capturing a sample of the demon. But when said sample breaks out, Ford gives a "You were saying?" glare at a completely dumbfounded Rick!
  • The short itself starts with Rick working in his garage when his phone goes off reading "Warning: Crossover Imminent", to which Rick just rolls his eyes in annoyance.
• In A Quick Rescue, when Ben meets Sonic, Speedy, the Road Runner, and Turbo, he says he's starting to sense a pattern.
  • Ben's reaction to seeing that the speedsters' friend is Rainbow Dash:
    Ben: This could NOT get any weirder.
• Battle of Beach City:
  • Tamatoa's annoyance at the Gems' Fusing after stopping the formation of Alexandrite.
    Tamatoa: No more of this weird Fusion business!
    • Right after that, he flings Amethyst into the air when she tries to rescue Garnet and Pearl.
      Amethyst: Aren't you forgetting someone?!
      Tamatoa: (lifts Amethyst by her whips) I did. Thanks for reminding me. (casually twirls Amethyst around and flings her high into the air)
  • Bill retrieves more of Aku's essence from the defeated Tamatoa and is about to throw down with the heroes... until he notices Rick's portal opening and bails it the hell out of there!
  • This little exchange between Rick and the heroes:
    Rick: Let me guess; a black triangle took the other Aku sample and left the planet.
    Garnet: Yes.
    Rick: (takes deep breath) Welp, the universe is screwed. I'm out!
    Pearl: Wait! I know you. We caught you stealing technology from various Gem sites!
    Ben: Yeah, that's his M.O. Rick Sanchez here is an inter-galactic criminal.
    Rick: Yeah, like I'm gonna take crap from the guy who destroyed the universe twice!
    Ben: Nuh-uh! It only happened ONCE!
    Pearl: (gives Ben a glance)
    Ben: What? I fixed it!
• In The Meeting, The Team Teens all get off topic, with Kim getting them back on track.
• In The Assembly, during the part where Kim says "...or whether you stumbled in this role by accident", Ben rolls his eyes as if to say "Really, Kim?"
