• Goofy has to carry all of the instruments, and they're crushed flat by the elevator after he fell in the shaft uttering a, well, goofy scream only he can make.
• Sylvester Macaroni's infuriated reactions when listening to the disastrous piece, from crushing his cigar (still in his mouth) on the window of his booth to biting off an arm rest of his armchair.
• Everyone has it bad when they had to play their busted instruments, but poor Donald had it worst when he tries to play a damaged concertina and it makes the sound of a donkey braying. Not once, but twice.
• That infamous moment where Donald tries storming off-stage, only for Mickey to block his path and holds him at gunpoint.
• The sounds made by the busted instruments, courtesy of sound effects genius Jimmy MacDonald. Really makes you wonder if Spike Jones saw this short and thought, "I should make a career making music like this."
• The disastrous piece somehow gets a standing ovation instead of being booed.
