  • One of the biggest of the story is when Iris asks Shirou what her dad used the Cloak of Death for, and Shirou realizes that Iris might have been conceived under the Cloak.
    "Did..." Iris's eyes were widening in time with her slowly unfolding horror. "Did he have sex under it?" She practically hissed the words.
    Shirou blushed even harder.
    • Iris then proceeds to go find Dumbledore and beg him to tell her that he washed it.
      Iris: Bleach! Chlorine! Maybe you set in on fire for a bit! Tell me you at least rinsed it off or something!
      Albus: I did wash it. Several times. Including last night. ... But... why are you asking about that? And how did you know that I was the one to give it to you?
      Iris: It was my father's? He was a boy.
      {Beat}
      Albus: I'm sure that James wouldn't have.... Oh dear.
      Iris: "He was a boy.
  • Iris shows Shirou the Mirror of Erised and he figures out how it works, even pulling out a few precious gems to demonstrate. Then as they're leaving...
    Shirou: Oh, damn. I could have gotten more treasure out of the mirror to use to fund our plan this summer, but now that I actually desire it, I won't be able to get it out.
  • It's always amusing when Shirou reacts very calmly and normally to things like Fred & George's shenanigans or Iris freaking out that he knows she was abused and found a fragment of Voldemort's soul in her scar.
  • Rin thought she had befriended a couple of poor orphans and the daughter of some dentists. Then over Christmas her gifts include a fancy silver clip (hand-made by Shirou,) and expensive tickets to see her favorite Quidditch Team play a New Year's game. Her parents thought a boy was trying to woo her and actually sat her down for a talk about who she's spending her time with.
    • Better yet, Iris reveals that she wrote Kanto Katanas just in an attempt to get Rid some merchandise, and Iris herself is such a celebrity that they threw in the tickets complimentary! Rin doubles over cackling when Iris reveals this.
  • The reactions of every Einzbern when Iris says, "Illya was my friend. She could have just asked," and promptly tosses them Flamel's Stone when no one knew she was even carrying it.
    • Also, the way practically every Einzbern tries to fall over themselves in over-dramatically showing her their gratitude, afterward.
