General

  • If you go up to Princess Peach's meet and greet wearing a Bowser hat from the land and/or any getup that makes you resemble him, expect her to have a double take before she proceeds as normal. Considering he's the Big Bad who likes to kidnap her, it makes sense she'd get a little worried seeing something like that.
  • Toad is usually very active at his meet and greet, dancing and/or generally wiggling to the area’s energetic music. Depending on the moment (or tempo he’s going at), this can turn from adorable to hilarious and right back again.
  • Watching people attempt the Key Challenges has potential for laughs, especially on the more frantic movement-based ones like Piranha Plant Naptime Mishap. Bonus points if a sugared-up kid or two is giving it their all while their exasperated parents struggle to keep up.

Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge

  • The cup the riders are participating in is called the "Universal Cup". Its trophy is the standard trophy design from Mario Kart 8, but with a tacky Universal logo on the top.
  • During the queue, you can see a Paper Mario-esque diorama of what appears to be a typical Mario Kart track. Look closely, and you'll see an unsuspecting Luigi about to be crushed by a Thwomp.
  • Bowser has a surprising amount of books in his possession. Read the spines while you're standing in the queue. A lot of them are worth a few laughs.
  • The Mario Kart TV crew is apparently very careless. There's racing tires strung about everywhere, two of which serve as a table for the camera setup. There's also a disorganized shelf of what appear to be master tapes of Mario Kart races with a misplaced Red Shell on it. And if that wasn't bad enough, there's a massive ball of wires right next to it, which is an electrical fire just waiting to happen.
  • Toad being a Butt-Monkey at the start of the race, in which he crashes into the abruptly closing gate out of Bowser's castle, to getting hit by a laser from a Bowser statue as he and the riders take an alternate route, and ultimately getting Squashed Flat under a Thwomp. He pretty much goes through a lot of the frustrating aspects of a Mario Kart race in a matter of seconds.
  • In the Hollywood version, before entering the queue, you take a brief detour through Yoshi's Island. Amongst the other details, you can see an elevator painted like a key door. Here's hoping the employees are able to find the key!

Toadstool Café

  • Every once in a while, Bowser will raid the café with an airship. Look outside one of the windows, and you'll see Luigi running away from a Bullet Bill. The Bullet Bills fired from the airship also (yet somehow) enter the café's kitchen, which then chase after the Toads working inside, causing them to drop what they're doing and run away. At one point however, a Toad that was mixing ingredients in a bowl tries to get back to his work, doing it frantically before he's chased away by another Bullet Bill, which then destroys the bowl anyway.
  • Outside one of the windows, you can see some Toads playing jump rope. The red one trips over, causing the other two to run over to help him up, and they walk away with the red one sad.
  • In another possible window scene, three Toads start freaking out over something just out of view. One would expect Bowser to enter the picture, until you see a Koopa Paratroopa fly in, seemingly minding its own business and completely oblivious to the cowering Toads.
