Not so "silent" anymore!
Despite the film being a combination of scary, sad and heartwarming all at the same time, the film still has room for comedy moments.
  • The Woman from the City dancing while giving the man her description of the city, and trying to convince him to come with her there.
  • As dramatic as the scene is, the scene where the man gets second thoughts about killing his wife also has him throw his arms over his face, to indicate the exact moment he turned in, which can be funny for some viewers.
  • During the couple's stroll, the two of them were imagining they were invulnerable to dangerous traffic they navigate through, and then they appeared in a wooded country field with beautiful blooming flowers and kissed.
    • Then when they snap back to reality, the duo realized they were standing in the middle of the road, blocking off multiple vehicles trying to pass (as pictured on the right). Complete a close-up of a foot slamming a car's brake pedal, a tram stopping suddenly and jolting passengers, horses bring reigned back, and an out-of-control bicyclist falling off when he can't brake in time. Leading to the drivers and riders yelling at the two of them to move. So much for the "silent" in "silent film".
  • The Wife acting immaturely refusing to have her headlocks cut, when the barber tried to cut her hair.
  • The Man and the Wife playfully teasing each other when they were waiting for their picture.
    • The photographer caught the two of them kissing in that photograph.
  • The scene in the Amusement Park where a piglet gets loose from a game booth, and causes commotion all over the park.
    • The Man catching the piglet after it consumed some alcohol and got drunk.
