• The 2014 PAX East livestream features Chris Roberts managing to crash his ship and break it into pieces within ten seconds of exiting the hangar, and the live crowd getting really hyped about the "putting on helmet" animation.
• In the ship commercial for the Freelancer, the eponymous ship is seen with a "Bad Ass Mother Trucker" bumper sticker on the lower-left corner of the cargo door, right around where it would normally be on a road truck, which further reinforces the "American pickup" vibe the commercial gives off.
  • Not to mention the sheer audacity of putting a bumper sticker on a spacecraft!
