• When they first attempt to subdue Grant.

  Pardy: (mutters) Much fuckin' worse...
• Pardy's reaction upon seeing the slug zombies begin to assimilate themselves to Grant, becoming an Eldritch Abomination.
  Pardy: Well now, that is some fucked up shit.
• Bill fighting an infected deer in the police station is pretty silly.
• Brenda pregnant. She literally looks like a gigantic human beach ball. And then she explodes into a tsunami of slugs.
• The Soundtrack Dissonance scene with "Every Woman In The World," finishing over the Mayor chowing down on an arm.
• Bill giving the Mayor a Mercy Kill without letting the Mayor finish asking for it and then carry on walking to try to destroy Grant. Bill's deadpan handling of the whole affair is perfect Black Comedy.
• The climax begins with a pitch-perfect old-school monster film awesome moment (Bill trying to blow up Grant with the grenade that he spent a huge chunk of the film retrieving) that casually becomes a Negated Moment of Awesome courtesy of Grant tripping Bill with a tentacle and the grenade rolling into a pool where it explodes harmlessly.
