• Just after the Starseed is stolen we witness the thief and a scholer in a tug-of-war over it, as it becomes unstable Tetsuo exclaims "Bob! Nooooooooo!" just as a blast from it takes the poor bastard out, Aiko offers her sympathy afterwards but it turns out Tetsuo didn't even know the guy, he just "Looked like a Bob" to him. When they meet the rest of the scholers who're sealed in their bunker and inform them of the poor guy's death, they learn that not only did Tetsuo guess the name right, but the scholers are more upset over now being out of interns.
• Aiko getting one over on her sister by temping her with the notion of getting an original draft of The Guide to Perfection from the author's abandoned house in the Forgotten City. Then pulling the rug out from under her by pointing out how much dust and debris they'll likely to face getting to it, causing Bichiko to reluctantly forgo the venture.
• The Bathroom break. Even deadly warriors must endure the awkwardness of making conversation while on the john.
• When the group is about to enter an elevator, Tetsuo is understandably hesitate after already enduring close-quarters with Wilhelm in a crate earlier, but Bichiko coaxes him onward by saying "Oh? So you don't want to get in his tiny, tiny little box with two beautiful, shapely, women?" He immediately joins them.
