• Blocking trade with certain countries can cause their leadership to become quite upset. If the player decides to end all trade with Canada, there is a chance that you will be invaded by Canadian troops. The usual result of this aggravated assault is the army being repelled and a few chuckles from the player.
• If you do something obviously unethical and then get condemned, the broadcast may backfire and harm a nation's credibility depending on how high your leadership effectiveness is.
