• Nick's little song while he and Nora are on their way to the race track:
  Nick: (Singing) Oh, give me the road, the wide country highway,
  Oh, give me a gal who 's going my way,
  Oh, give me the road, the wide open spaces,
  And give me a wife who 's going (Kisses Nora) places.
  Nora: That's very touching, dear, but I wish you wouldn't drive so fast.
  Nick: (Singing) I don't tell you how to run the house...
  (A police siren starts up behind them and Nick shrinks in his seat a little)
  Nick: (Still singing) Oh, give me a hole, I'm just a mouse.
• At breakfast, Nick Jr. becomes insistant that Nick drink milk like he has to. After he attempts to weasel out of it, Nora has the housekeeper take Nick's martini shaker away and watches him force himself to drink the milk with the biggest evil smirk on her face.
• While watching a wrestling match, Nora starts unknowingly mimicking the wrestler's headlock on Nick.
