Being a parody of the most common Love Tropes and Shoujo, Romantic Killer is no stranger to over-the-top humor.

The spoilers will most likely be unmarked! So please watch the Anime or read the Manga before continuing...

     General
  • The titles for each episode are lines taken from the Anime that the characters say at one point. While some have a darker meaning (such as "Just Tell Me You Don't Like It"), the others are pretty silly titles for episodes.
  • Riri and Anzu's dynamic involves the former mocking the latter for nearly falling in love with the Ikemen, and the latter abusing and torturing the former in several hilarious ways.
  • The MANY hilarious faces Anzu makes throughout the series. Here's a good chunk of those moments right here.
  • All the cockroach scenes in episodes 1, 2, and 6 where the sight of the cockroach is replaced with a slice of cake because it's so gross to show on the screen. So, it looks like a piece of cake is moving on its own all around Anzu's house.

Why Is There So Much Legalese in Magic?
  • The game that Anzu plays in question is a crappy Otome game with 3D graphics that makes PS1 games look crisp in quality. Even Anzu comments on how horrible it looks.
  • When Riri mentions that he'll help Anzu find the love of her life, she says that the love of her life is Momohiki. Her cat...
  • This face that Riri makes.
  • In order to “even the playing field”, Riri uses his magic to have it so Anzu’s Parents leave the country with her father being transferred overseas, which they are very casual about, leaving Anzu behind to hold the fort for 2-3 years. The thing is: her father’s job is as a postal worker. Anzu sees how ridiculous it is for such a job to sent overseas.
  • Anzu goes into the kitchen to make some food only to find a cockroach on the ground (with the Relax-o-Vision turning it into a shortcake for the viewers' sake). This makes her not only extremely frightened to the point of hopping around the house cartoonishly, but this small bug makes her run away from her house and hide at a kids playground. And then the rain comes and things go from bad to worse for her...

It's Time for Children to Go to Sleep
  • Anzu's Oh, Crap! moment when he sees Tsukasa staring at her in the rain.
  • The Noblewoman's Laugh that Anzu does to Tsukasa when she wins in a board game is both adorable and funny.
  • Riri uses his magic to put Anzu to sleep. The "magic" he uses is just him bopping Anzu upside the head with his wand.

My Life Has Become a Dating Sim

The Childhood Friend is Easy Mode
  • While Anzu and Junta are walking down to school, Anzu encounters a Hercules beetle (that the Relax-o-Vision turns into a scone for the viewers sake) that scares her silly. Riri then arrives, flying full speed, to poke Anzu in the knee with his wand to cause her to slip into a romantic situation where Junta catches her.
    Riri: "This is gonna hurt."

You're More Troublesome in Flesh and Blood
  • The very fact that once we're introduced to Riri's girl form, her immediate response is to make up a faux-A-Cup Angst moment that angers the girls. And the hilarious part about this? It actually works!
    • She talks about how the girls' boobs are bigger than hers and Anzus. Which pisses Anzu off, leading to her uppercutting Riri.
  • Riri decides that she wants some ice cream and that they should play rock-paper-scissors where the loser is forced to get it. However, Anzu notices Riri waving her wand behind her back and realizes that's the source of her power. So, she first calls Riri's name to distract her and in a flick of her finger, knocks Riri through the door! Claiming that there's a fly on her before saying that it was actually a speck of dust. Either Riri is surprisingly too light or Anzu has been watching too much One-Punch Man...
    • Riri's response to this? A jolly-sounding "You Meanie!" as she speedily rebuilds the entire door and lazily tapes it together. The fact that it actually held up makes it even more hilarious.

     A "Reincarnated-in-Another-World" Date

     You Sure Have Your Quirks...

Goose Bumps! I Am a Goose Now!
  • Riri states that she wants to go on a mock date with Anzu, with Anzu responding that she doesn't want to date her before flicking a booger from her finger. It's revealed to land on Riri's shoulder, of which she quickly gets out a handkerchief and picks it off of.
