• In "Behind the Eight", when Ophelia drugs Simon by poisoning both their drinks. It's mostly a dramatic moment, but the way she says, as he lies twitching on the floor, "I see you still can't hold your ether," implying that she's poisoned him before, makes his willingness to let her mix the drinks, followed by his paranoid switching the drinks, darkly hilarious.
• Nicholas Steiner, loyal bodyguard to Simon, catching Bianca Masters eavesdropping on a Simon-and-Smith meeting, hands Bianca a glass to place against the door so she can hear better. Then when Nancy opens the door unexpectedly and catches Bianca, Steiner smoothly steps behind the door unseen.
