  • "The elite paramilitary organization... Eagle Scouts."
    • Even funnier if you're familiar with the history of the Scouting movement in the western world. It really was established as a paramilitary organization to help prepare boys for potential military service by training them in a variety of practical skills. The US military even provides recruiting incentives for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts who achieved certain milestones in scouting such as the rank of Eagle Scout. Similar incentives exist for other youth organizations like JROTC and the Civil Air Patrol.
  • It was a blink and miss moment, but the Arapaho National Forest information sign when translated by Yuri turned out hilarious.
    • What was ingenious though was that his recounting of the Colorado War, was accurate, the only part he faked was being able to read English.
  • How many people didn't crack up when the Soviet soldier grabbed the gun off a corpse who had "I'll give you my gun if you can take it from my cold dead fingers." on his truck's bumper.
  • Doubling as a Badass Boast when the group meet Tanner.
Jed: How'd you get shot down?
Tanner: It was five to one. I got four.
  • Tanner gives the boys a briefing about their assault on the Calumet Drive-in, only to realize that the boys don't know the meaning of terms like "flank," "defilade" or "grazing fire," and as such, don't understand the plan at all. His response?
  • The guerillas are trying to interrogate a captured Soviet soldier, but none of them speak Russian. One asks, "Sprechen ze Deutsch?" only for another to retort, "So what if he does? You don't!"
